Spring balanced trap door with recessed sealing lock, easy to maneuver with opening handle and sealed with a sealing strip to prevent heat loss and downward draughts. Wooden 3-part folding stepladder that fits on to the hatch door when folded, no loft clearance required. The protective pads included are to be attached to the bottom of the ladder after adjusting the ladder length. The face of the trap door can be covered with timber paneling etc. to blend in with your present decoration as the hinges are concealed.
